Founder & Owner
A seasoned entrepreneur with more than four decades building and scaling food-service brands. Scott founded Yogurt Oasis in 1984 — a pioneering self-serve frozen yogurt concept that grew into a national franchise with 20 franchisees — followed by six high-volume Brenen's Café locations near Ohio State and Ohio University, and Ambrosia Frozen Yogurt Manufacturing, which supplied proprietary mixes nationwide before its acquisition by Instant Whip. He has launched more than 30 restaurants across multiple concepts and markets, and today guides Brenz Pizza Co. with a focus on sustainable systems, operational excellence, and scalable franchise development.

Based in Durham, North Carolina, Don has led the growth and execution of Brenen's university dining concepts since 2020 — building relationships with university partners and dining teams, identifying new campus opportunities, supporting concept launches, openings, staffing, and training, and continually sharpening our systems for speed, food quality, and hospitality across every location.
